Test Library Maintenance Notification

1/15/2015

In order to ensure that our testing products keep pace with current technology, we are eliminating Citrix/Java-based tests from our platform by 2/7/15.

To prepare for this transition, we have converted the tests in our current commercially available catalog, and have also converted many custom titles. In most cases, these tests have been or will be automatically swapped in your accounts, meaning you won’t have to do anything in order to be able to continue testing.

As we start the process of removing the old titles, you may notice that the list of available tests in your account has changed. This may occur if your test list includes a test title which is being retired or replaced in our commercial library, or if the custom test you are using has not been converted to the new platform.

The following categories of commercially available tests will no longer be available after 2/7/15:

  • TalentScout(R) Tests
  • Legacy Identity(R) tests featuring a two-letter suffix in the test name
  • MS Office Essentials tests
  • Timesolver tests
  • MS Office tests older than Office 2007
  • MS Windows tests older than Windows Vista
  • C, C++, Java, PERL, and HTML Programming Tests
Tests that have been retired from the system will be removed from your available test list on 2/7/15. Also, an active test sessions or eTickets containing these titles will become invalid on 2/7/15. In order to avoid confusing test takers, we advise that you stop administering or sending eTickets for these titles immediately.

If you have a custom test that is not in the current catalog, and are concerned about whether or not the test will be available to use after 2/7/15, please do not administer the test or send it to a test taker via eTicket until you contact your account manager.

If you don’t have the contact information for your account manager, please contact Mariel Lynch directly at sales@skillcheck.com.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve our product offering!
